At Empyrean Dance classes we explore movement through body alignment, foot and arm positions, and body isolations. A clear breakdown of technique is provided for attendees to support a safe dance practice and understanding of body mechanics, while improving fitness, strength and balance in a fun and supportive atmosphere.
FCBD® Style (formerly American Tribal Style) is a group improvisation dance style founded by Carolena Nericcio. The style is built on a vocabulary made up of movements and cues, allowing dancers to communicate when dancing together, and having the appearance of a perfectly choreographed dance.
Datura Style™ is a dance style founded by Rachel Brice, and refers to both a dance vocabulary and technique approach. Stylistic influences and concepts are from many dance styles, including FCBD® Style, American Cabaret, and Salimpour Vocabulary.
